You are correct I have never paid for a season. I have great defensemen on my team(s).anyone that would fall infront of a puck with-out the pads is alright in my book!!!!! Hockey=life!!!!
Last line of defence... Goalies are the only player on our teams (we have 2) that we don't make pay for the season. To be treated like gold if sitting between the pipes! I'll block blazing slappers and snappers with my face if I can make his job easier. Good on you.
Sundin, I am a goaltender!!!!! Started in goal as a kid because I thought they looked the coolest on the ice. Then as I got older I realized the work it takes to be in the net. I love it though!!!!

Hockey is the mens sport that gets the most respect in my book. It is by far the least homoerotic, and has the least sissy rules. Still, if I had the choice to see live hocky or live girls beach volleyball... hockey is going to take the back seat, though.
